Go to the jewwlry store in The Villages, either one of the ones in Sumter Landing (they are owned by the same folks). Took my watch that I had been told would have to get sent to New York for repair and they took care of it for me. It took a few weeks, but I certainly felt better than shipping it off. They take a picture of the piece when they take it from you and a copy goes with the receipt. I liked that idea. Good luck!
