I can view my Cablevision programs on my IPAD provided I have access to a router emitting Cablevision signal. You can be anywhere but you to have an account. Also, I have Netflix which is available anywhere but you have to pay $8/month. One other point you can view these via wireless internet unless you have cellular service on your IPAD.
