My concern is that far too many voters seemed pre-occupied with protecting the party line rather than if their elected leaders are doing their utmost to protect and preserve our U.S. Constitution and hence the United States of America. What do you believe?

rubicon,
This is something I was thinking about the other day when I was watching Fox New talking to some Rep leaders, can't remember who, and they also had some Dems on there for the liberal side.
It hit me as I was watching, how intrenched the right is in carrying water for the party line as well as the left.
I could not believe we are still debating abortion. I just don't think it has any business in politics and is used to beat the right over the head with every election. I think it highlights just what Obamacare will be like.
The right needs to stop being so hardline on this issue. I am a man and it is not my choice and it should always be the choice of the women in the end.
Also the right needs to lighten up on the "no tax hike for the super rich" idea.
I think it will sink us. I think $250k is too low and it should be more like 1 mil. but it should not be all or nothing. I think that is a losing stance.
And finally, I think you could pick any number of questionable dealings and acquaintance of Obama that would make Bain look like a paper cut. The left is stretching the facts and just plain lying when it comes to this topic and that highlights how the left will carry the water for their side blindly.
I am tired of the sophomoric petty people we have to pick from to lead our great country.
We are in a sad era of our country and I hope people will wake up in time to see the forest instead of the one little tree they are standing behind!
