Ours is in the garage already (patio villa) but we kinda wish it was in a different location. It's currently along one wall of the garage, right next to where the hot water heater and air handler sit. If it was back in the corner by the garage door (would be more "out of the way" then), it would give us a little bit more room on that wall for the golf cart or whatever.
So if you're going to relocate your sink to the garage - or are planning it for the garage in a new build - you'll probably want to give some consideration to what would be most beneficial location for you.
