Everyone has the right to have an opinion on what our national priorities should be. This list of possibilities is a very long one. What we do know for sure is that we can't afford to do everything that everyone wants.

Looking at just two spending items--spending to assure broader and better healthcare for all Americans, or continuing to explore space--it's an easy choice for me. We can't afford to continue the space program.
