Florida law does not require that cars have front license plates. You're right about having gates that allow golf carts to pass through. I like the suggestion about the "iron gate"..I have long thought that the stanchions that are at the front entrance of cart paths should be made of steel. We wouldn't be replacing so many of them and people who hit them once, won't do it again.
