Good idea when the card isn't placed in the window. I realize some disabilities aren't visible, but next time I see a kid jump out of the car and they are the only one in the car, I'm writing down the placard number and see what the police have to say. I'd bet a dollar to a donut hole the placard belongs to the parent or grandparent.
This is a big problem everywhere and with a disabled brother, it really ticks me off when I have to help him out at the front of the store (blocking traffic and the front door).
