I go to that pool, and the music is not very loud and is clearly enjoyed by the people in the pool. Many are water dancing to the music! It is a very friendly pool and there is talk and chatter as well. Everyone is welcomed in a friendly way. Personally, I love the music that is played.
If you want a quiet place to read a book, you might want to try your lanai, or some other place, but most people at that pool love the people and the music.
The music player is very nice and would most likely try to please a request for quiet, but you cannot expect a well attended pool to be very "quiet."
