Well I will have to agree in part concerning some Republicans. Some have not gotten the message and they believe they can conduct busiess as usual. The Tea Party should not be thrown in with this lot as they have a different agenda. It is why we need Mitt Romney because when all the dust settles he will lead as a moderate and in this point in time this country needs a moderate because the left is too far left and the right too far right. It is also why I favor Marco Rubio as VP because while the poistion is usually ceremonial I believe a guy like Romney will delegate as business leaders usually do.
As for the farm bill again I agree we need to review this method of assistance because it normally subsidizes rich farmers. Having said that attached to that bill is the food samp bill that liberals want to expand this program and it is this latter topic that has caused the battle...meaning some Democrats would go along with the farm bill because it helps in their district too but are caught up in the food stamp issue. Again we find some politicians placing their self interest ahead of what is best for the country. In that liberals, indepedents and conservatives should join together and demand a halt to it all. But far too many voters are too heavily invested in the party line. Its a mistake and its hurting us all.... Its....My country tis of thee...not my party tis of thee
