Of course, money often makes the decision for you and like many we do have limitations. What input do you have on these views? What has been your experience either way?
By the way, I never get up during the night but we are so excited! We love it here- this is our second visit.

You will spend more time in your house than you think.
It reminds me of cruising and our friends say "I'll never be in my room so why do I need a window?" then they they spend more time in their room than we do with a balcony.
Go for the house you want.
