That seems to be what Obama is saying that many others came before you so that you could deliver other people's groceries in the Villages, for instance. Or, create TOTV so that Villagers, wannabe Villagers, and others could talk about what Obama meant in this speech and other matters.

no one can say what obama 'meant' to say - only he knows that for sure. those who say they know what he meant can only ass/u/me same. obama is alleged to be an ultimate orator so i have to wonder if he intentionally put the phrase there so that folks could argue that his words were taken out of context or twisted.

it provides the context you mention, but it does not negate the fact that romney did not twist his words! it would not serve an obama attack if he claimed that romney twisted his 'intention' or took his words 'out of context!'
i, personally, believe he meant to say it. i also believe he would have been one heck of a lot smarter if he had simply added the word ALONE at the end of that phrase!
his handlers should NEVER let him go off teleprompter - look at what it does!
