some of us conservatives didn't have boots - with or without straps! whenever my folks asked the liberals for boots for us kids they were told we didn't need them because we already had shoes! family had no choice but to go it on their own - without any government assistance. and so we did! took my parents about 23 years before they could afford to buy their first house - how about yours?
