my father was REJECTED from several branches of service and could never have the help of a veteran's program. he lost out again. thank you for your service...i credit you and all of the vets as the most important group of people who helped me get where i am today! i cannot say that for a group of politicians!
[not hijacking thread - just sharing a funny story about a vet - my uncle would not say anything about why he was awarded his purple heart EXCEPT to claim that it was while in the back of a jeep - claimed he chipped his tooth on a wine bottle!
