I disagree. I agree that his voice in not what it used to be. I've been saying it for years. But the point is that it doesn't matter. He's Beatle Paul and millions of people will continue to attend his concerts because of who he is and what he has done. I do believe that he was choked up at the very beginning. His voice really sounded terrible on the first several notes but improved after that.
Elton John? He's not even close when it comes to celebrity and status in the UK or the world. And if you think Paul's voice is gone, you haven't heard Sir Elton sing live lately. He literally has nothing left at all.

I'm with Dr. Winston on this one... I just finished watching, after reading some of the comments on here. I was expecting the worst, but was pleasantly surprised.
What saddened me the most was Mohammad Ali at the Olympic flag. Parkinson's is a horrible disease.
