One thing I know for sure is that I will NEVER post anything that can be taken out of context. You are so right that we have all worked hard to be where we are and we should all be considerate of each other, no matter what the issue is....most of us have had to put up with a lot of BS in our jobs and we shouldn't have to put up with it in retirement. So if someone posts a comment you don't agree with don't nail them to the cross, look at it from their perspective and just be considerate of each other. Ok, I didn't mean to go on, but that's what happens after a glass of wine

I haven't had a glass of wine----not yet. I just posted some comments on another thread regarding this subject and I hope not to repeat myself too much in case some read it.

We live in a negative world today. This year and especially in the next 4 months we are going to be bombarded with one negative commercial after another. Its election year! I'm already sick of these commercials. Its done because the "experts" say it works. People today believe half truths and "spin" that makes absolutely no sense. I am going to use some Southern Illinois hill country common sense and tell you that I believe this has an unconscious effect on all of us. No, I don't have a degree in psychology (only a minor in college many moons ago) but I don't think you need any degree at all to express a common sense observation on TOTV. Folks, I don't give up easily. I plan to "hang" and try my best to be positive and optimistic about TV and The United States of America. Time for that glass of wine. And right now, that's all I've got to say about that!
