My only concern, because our villa is empty for most of the summer, is that the hi temps in the garage will dry out some of the rubber fittings which may cause an earlier than usual repair or replacement. I figure that fulltimers that use the appliances regularly, this should not be an issue.

We don't currently have W/D in the garage but have had in another place not far from TV. No problems. George And OP, you can get in on a House Watch program for about 35.00 a month and they will turn your appliances on every two weeks and that solves the problem of rubber fittings drying out. For many reasons, House Watch is a good idea anyway. A neighbor also has a key but in my opinion that is a bit much to impose on a neighbor all summer long.

OP!!
