The head and tail lights should be on a separate fuse than the brake & signal lights.
I would look for that separate fuse and replace it, if it blows again than there is a short in the system.

Thanks Bulldog with the heads up on the switch.
Found burn wire to the on/off switch. Replaced the switch, and connection. Checked the fuses. Fuses looking good, but did find a connection to one of the fuses not tight at all, thanks Frank7. I'm back to night driving.
