I lived in British Columbia for 26 years. I am not up to date on Whistler but I know it has been greatly developed after the Olympics wit much better roads to Whistler and new facilities. The golf is excellent so you could bring your clubs. Vancouver is so beautiful. You will go to Stanley Park, Granville Island, Grouse Mountain, Capilano Suspension Bridge, Robson Street. Te restaurants are phenomenal, the multicultuarlism is rich, the european atmosphere is fashionable.

That is for starters. If you have time, take a ferry for a day to Victoria or take a few days and go to Salt Spring Island, which has the largest number of artists per capita in North America. I lived there for five years running the social service agency and it is a magnificent place.
