Mom and I closed on our home in May. The house was clean except there was a lot of dirt in the window sills from the new construction in Charlotte. I put this on my "builder's list" before we headed back to Michigan. According to my property manager, the builder had the floors cleaned a couple of days after we left. But, she said the floor tiles got very dirty when they did a couple of other things on my "builder's list" and she called the Warranty Office. The builder had the cleaning lady back to clean the floors. The property manager raved about how the floors shined when they were cleaned this time! That is what I call good Customer Service.
A few things on my "builder's list" that you might not think of are: one of the sinks in the master bath had a large scratch, one of the lanai ceiling fans was really crooked and the granite where the side and back met wasn't even. According to my property manager, these were all fixed to her satisfaction.
