One of his biggest problems has been snubbing his nose at everyone and then expecting cooperation from everyone. He is no leader...never ever in his life been in a leadership position...EVER. He had so many chances to bring this together and he has forced everyone further apart. Even his own party complains about his lack of communication.
And by the way...JANMCN said "Wasn't it congress that forced the sequestration in return for passing the extension of the Bush tax cuts?"
Well, this from the WSJ article
"A year ago, the president demanded a $500 billion "sequester" of defense dollars as a penalty should Congress fail to cut a grand debt deal" Note the word DEMANDED !
A few days ago in Tampa at Mc Dill a number of senators were visiting to show support to get something done and the DEMOCRATIC mayor was there showing support to demand the President do something.
