I agree with Cricket1. The designers will not steer your wrong. My personal opinion is to bump anything and everything that you can if you can afford it. We are in the process of building a Zinnia and did a bump on the front and the lanai in addition to adding a golf car garage and a 10x16 craft room for the Queen Bee. I'm now wishing that I had bumped the lanai another 2' but whatever. I hope you get Jim Lane for you consultant. He is smart as a whip with a great sense of humor.
