Some of these extremist right groups try to create their own government. I encountered people thinking along these lines in the late 1980s while representing inmates at Minnesota Correctional Facility--Stillwater. You could not argue with prisoners who thought that the government no longer had any authority over them.
The Sovereign Movement in the US does seem to have some parallels to Hitler's group in the early 1920s before the Nazis starting getting the backing of various big businesses.
