The funny thing is I can see the door from wherever I'm sitting (living, dining) here, unless its a neighbor or someone like the police etc...I will sit and just look at them! Boy that confuses em. ::giggles:: Also have no soliciting on the door to keep the door to door sales away. Oh in todays paper there is an "official" no soliciting piece of paper you can tape to your door. It said it was back "by popular demand"! |
The town in Iowa I grew up in (Dubuque) was heavily Catholic back in the 1960's-1970's. When the Jehovah Witnesses would travel the neighborhood, my mom would make us all hide in the back bedroom with the door closed, no talking allowed, until they left the neighborhood. Maybe she thought they would climb through the windows if they heard us talking in the house
