Lets not be sarcastic. I am sure that the poster would be the last one to say that there is not any crime in NH. I believe what they are trying to say is that they are a little surprised that in a community in which we all have decided to buy in because of the friendliness etc one wouldn't think that someone would steal a planter.
That said I too would suspect a landscaping company as they have the whereabouts to move it.
