Default What We Have Here Is Plain Hypocrisy

Residents of The Villages are being told by some posters here to just go around street legal golfcarts and not to be concerned because they live in such a nice place. HMMMM

We have street legal golfcart owners whose vehicles travel under the posted speed limit on most roads creating short tempers by some drivers but yet these same street legals travel substantially faster than the required speed limit on golfcart paths creating unsafe passing senarios and placing pedestrians, bicylists and non-legal golfcart drivers and passengers in harms way...and then not expecting any reaction.

When this community first began development there was plenty of room to accomodate street legal vehicles but with The Villages approaching 102,000 plus vistors, plus locals, plus renters and their vistors it is like placing rickshaws on 466 and it is like placing race cars on golfcart paths. Can anyone say with a straight face that this situation supports the motto "Florida's Friendliest HomeTown'?
