Hunger Games was not shown here because the Villages theaters does not have an agreement with Lionsgate Films (see other Hunger Games posts). 2016 is an 'Independent Film' from Rocky Mountain Pictures. Maybe the way to go if you want to see this film here is to contact the Independent Film Club and have them show it at one of their next scheduled meetings. Maybe the film is not 'banned' but the theaters do not have a contract with the independent film distributor to show their moview here. Just a thought.....
