Bucco, Your current non-stop threads attacking anything which remotely smacks of the Democtatic Party has, at best become tiresome. I keep trying to read this pap, but it evokes the same feelings as squeaks on the chalkboard. You seem in a frenzy to beat every little thing to death and perhaps you notice that those who look at things differently are losing interest in making replies.
But your post above is a new low. Your citing a flyspeck triviality as a means of condemning the temporary non-deportation program is an incredible cheap shot. And, are you unaware that in all employment circumstances standard high school diplomas are equivalent to the GED?
You ignore the lengthy list of requirements young immigrants must meet just to obtain a temporary work permit and postpone being summarily kicked out of the country. Are you simply jealous Rubio and other Repubs couldn't get this thing enacted quickly enough?
No serious GOP immigration proposal in recent years was MORE strict or conservative than the one now in place. The deafening silence following the Presidential order ought to be a clue that this program is just simple common sense. The current administration has deported a record number of illegal immigrants. It costs big bucks and much effort to enforce the law and this program simply moves eligible, approved young people away from top priority focus. Maybe this means we can concentrate more on deporting others, like maybe illegals who commit crimes?
If you've got nothing better to do, at least try to find something legit and important enough to take up space here.
