You ignore the lengthy list of requirements young immigrants must meet just to obtain a temporary work permit and postpone being summarily kicked out of the country. Are you simply jealous Rubio and other Repubs couldn't get this thing enacted quickly enough?
No serious GOP immigration proposal in recent years was MORE strict or conservative than the one now in place. The deafening silence following the Presidential order ought to be a clue that this program is just simple common sense. The current administration has deported a record number of illegal immigrants. It costs big bucks and much effort to enforce the law and this program simply moves eligible, approved young people away from top priority focus. Maybe this means we can concentrate more on deporting others, like maybe illegals who commit crimes?
If you've got nothing better to do, at least try to find something legit and important enough to take up space here.

I have grown weary of the hate, vile posts from the left. It has/is ruining a place where I have been from the beginning and enjoyed the back and forth and the discussions and disagreements. That is no more on here.
I have tried many times to begin discussions on issues, even began a thread about a book that I think will be favorable to Obama....only to be hit with snide and cruel nasty remarks.
I started a thread about the New Black Panthers and was greeted with basically a "defense" of them...perhaps not strong but a dismissal and a curt mocking, make fun comment about even starting it.
I/we have been treated to nothing but repulsive remarks about candidates on the right...vile things..smart cracks about "weiner mobiles" and the such.
I was called out by name for what ?....for saying that there was no budget, as if I lied.
Yep, from now on I am joining in on the fray....I am not going to worry about facts.....there are a group of posters on here who NEVER post facts.
I am not going to worry about issues....most on here never do.
I will attack people...that appears to be the most acceptable behavior on here.
You can criticize me all you want...you, who I have tried to be decent with but will NEVER answer my question when it is uncomfortable for you. I even gave you post numbers etc and you just ignore it. It is only good for YOU and what you want to post.

It should not bother me but it does. I find LYING, personal attacks on ANYBODY...left or right to be reprehensible. Somehow it became acceptable on here, and you can come after me all you want and allow those folks to continue on their merry way, but I am now taking nothing on here seriously and what you accuse me of is true, but even as bad behavior as I am showing and I admit to that, it is better and more mature than what is normally accepted on here.
I check both right and left sites and articles, from now on, if the left does not want to do that, I will do it for them and at least now the facts are there to be read.

I appreciate your comments but am going after each and every attack on here that does not discuss issues and goes after people. This forum was informative and fun, but allowing these people to just roll over and mock is no longer acceptable.
On the immigration issue, the President did this only for political purposes....he could have done any of this IF HE REALLY WANTED TO when he controlled all the senate and house, but he did not....did NOT EVEN discuss it.
Is it wrong, partially....especially since done the way he has, there is ABSOLUTELY NO WAY to enforce what he said and he knows it. That reason alone should make you ask questions. What he says is totally enforceable. Do you just ask how long someone has been here and accept what they say ? Apparently !
Enough I's on this post. I will ask YOU for about the third or fourth time to comment to me on the payment for the health care bill. And that question is timely since one of the many ways the administration offered to pay is their 700 million dollar cut in medicaire based on effeciences...I assume you have been reading that. That is ONE of the ways....how much of a chance do you give the US government to be able to find 700 million dollars in inefficiencies in mediciare and solve them in the next 10 years. This item is one of the many maybes that were used to pay for this through the CBO.
I wont bug you on the other items you will not respond on, but would ask you to respond on that single one.
