Jobs that pay well are scarce. The Villages gives you a cost of living sheet in your packet and most everyone agrees it is pretty close to accurate.
New and resale houses of the same model and on the same kind of lot cost about the same. The bonds are paid off sometimes in resales and are paid down some, but repairs may be needed...so it is going to be a tough decision.
If you do look at a lot and they say you have six hours to decide, they are not scamming you...but there are MANY and will be more. They sell fast so don't panic.
