I have a B.A. from the University of Nevada, Reno in Philosophy. Like the works of David Hume Hume. Also enjoy those of Bishop George Berkely. George Berkeley (Stanford Encyclopedia of Philosophy)

American philosophers like William James http://www.des.emory.edu/mfp/james.html and Charles Sanders Peirce are also of interest. Charles Sanders Peirce - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

A very difficult but great philosopher is Ludwig Wittgenstein. Ludwig Wittgenstein (Stanford Encyclopedia of Philosophy)

Anyone really interested in the Great Ideas of Western Philosophy should look at this Teaching Company course. http://www.thegreatcourses.com/tgc/c...l.aspx?cid=470

They have a previous edition of this work in both CD and Audio Tape form at the Lake County Library System's Lady Lake Library at 225 W. Guava Street in Lady Lake.

The Teaching Company also has courses on Eastern Philosophy.
