Default Plumber needed for simple garage job

My name is Robert, owner of a house in Hadley located in The Villages, FL 32162. My phone number is listed below.

Let me know if you are willing to give me a rough estimate (ROM) for this relative simple piping job. I will sign a waiver of responsibility or liability in all events to hold you harmless.

Recently, my neighbor across the street in “the villages” had his garage go up in flames and his house burned to the ground because of a golf cart fire explosion caused by his golf cart battery. He had no alarms, and no sprinkler system. Had he had these, he would have noticed the fire earlier, but most importantly, with a sprinkler system, the fire would have been put out before any damage could have occurred.

All I want is a very “simple” sprinkler system that provides for 1) steel pipe meeting code (black galvanized pipe), and 6 fire rated sprinkler heads about $24-50 each, to be connected to that same pipe to be placed underneath the ceiling (so it is exposed), and simply tied into our existing main water supply for the house which is located in garage, and I want a cut-off valve. That’s it, 45 feet of steel pipe will be needed plus all fittings.

I do not want this job to be done by an approved fire sprinkler company because all I am paying for it their name and training, when any plumber can do this job. I am not looking for a industrial or even a full house residential just the GARAGE ONLY. I am looking for a good plumber that can do this job. Send me an email or call me at 202-280-7272 to discuss the job with me.

The garage is concrete and slops to the street for water run, and if a fire occurs, only the heads closest to the fire would go off. Once the fire is out, the shut off valve would be used to cut the water.

The Purpose of this simple garage fire system is to provide us with a safety net (time) and reduce damage to the rest of the house in case of a golf cart fire, or car fire, or other electrical or paint fire in the garage area and to keep the fire from spreading to the rest of the house. Because our neighbor recently lost his house due to a golf cart fire, and such a simple system could have slowed the fire down considerably, by very little expense, which is why I want the pipe and heads added to my garage ONLY.
