I am not a plumber but am able to do my own plumbing projects. I will
say nothing in plumbing is always as simple as it seems. In my experience
at least two or three trips to the hardware store in normal. Many unforseen
thing can come up. I might tackle something like you are wanting for
myself but not for someone else. Too many things can go wrong.
I would suggest you get a licensed plumber. Good luck
