Since arriving here in Florida, I have learned a few things about driving.

1. Turn signals are an OPTION on car bought in Florida.
2. Red lights and stop signs are also an OPTION that you can obey or not, depends on how your day is going.
3. Speed limits only apply to the other drivers.
4. If you are a Villagers you always have the right away, even in your cart, even though your cart only weights 400 pounds you are willing to take on a 4000 pound car.
5. Always be in a hurry even though you have no place to be at a certain time.

Guess that about sums it up for the vast majority of drivers in The Villages and the surrounds areas in Florida.

Remember, Drive Defensively and you just might make it back home alive to enjoy the rest of the day.
