Where is it posted that the speed limit for golf carts is 20mph? I see signs on some roads that say the speed limit is 20 mph unless otherwise posted. I assumed that is for cars.
A few days ago I got to wondering how traffic laws for golf carts can be enforced anyway. My understanding is that the rule is that an operator must be 14 years old, but does not need a drivers license. How does one enforce rules with unlicensed, but perfectly legal drivers?

floridea law states 19.9 max for golf carts, going faster is a ticketable offense for driving an unregistered motor vehicle with a hefty fine.
