Thanks to all for all the suggestions. I have to agree that eating them fresh from the tree is the best way. Unfortunately, they all come at once and I'm the only one that really eats them. Kevin, my husband, may eat one or two. I've shared them with my neighbors and much to my surprise they don't like them either. GEEZ!

So, what I decided to do was search the sites everyone gave me, read the receipes everyone sent and I came up with my own concoction. I rinsed and removed the stems, cut in quarters and placed in a pot with a tiny amount of water and sugar and cooked them down for about 2 hours. I cooled them down, placed them in my blender on puree and now I have my own version of Fig "Butter". I just hope it freezes well for future use.
Thank you all for your advise. There are still many on the tree left so if you come up with any more idea's please send them to me. I appreciate all suggestions.
One day I hope to be in the Villages with my Fig Trees and then I will share them with you all.
