I did pay close to $200 for my phone but the cheap monthly rate quickly offsets that price.
This reflects my experience using Boost Service and an Android Smartphone and living in Piedmont. I formerly had AT&T and did not find it nearly as good as Boost. I occasionally have missed calls but not dropped calls.

I suspect the problem in TV is that the owners have not allowed enough cell towers to be positioned in the development to have any service give really great coverage. They may be concerned about the esthetics of the towers.

One thing that brightspot01 did not mention is that Boost does not require a contract. If you choose to do so you can make your payments with a payment card you can purchase at Walmart.

I pay my monthly bill by automatic credit card payment, assuring the reductions in monthly cost that comes from making on time payments.

Nationwide Boost uses the Sprint cell tower system.

I am quite happy with Boost.
