You'd probably find dog poop in the trash cans of many other municipalities and other entities around the country.
Still do not understand the need to dictate others enjoyment of the Villages by banning dog feces from postal center trash cans. That probably results in lazier people leaving it where it lies so to speak so they do not have to stink up their garage and/or automobile interior which they would smell a great deal more often than on a very quick trip to the postal center. An enclosed garage in the hot summer can get quite rancid from the poop in residents' trash. My understanding is that the postal station trash cans are emptied every night. Most of the people I see at Lynnhaven Postal Center are there for less than 2 minutes and then gone.
Sounds a lot better than the stink in a hot garage which could last for 4 days or so; in between garbage pick-ups.
