I've been wintering in FL for several years and have done a lot of traveling around these monsters in our RV all over the USA.

When driving I keep a laptop on the dash with radar, (my verizon air card is priceless at those times) it helps, but ..... driving is more risk at times than being in home.



Just had an 110 MPH hit in NYC a I think an F1, most of the bad stuff in north of us in CT into MA.

For two to hit NYC is unheard of here. It's just very rare in NY.
