LAN Fan with problem
Just moved from Amelia to St. James. Left Comcast and picked up CenturyLink. Love fiber!! Much happier with the speed/price, BUT, having a duce of a time getting my stuff to talk to each other. Have a wifi printer that is online, but neither of my iMac's will talk to it, and a wired printer to one iMac that the other iMac used to be able to print from. Called CenturyLink and they said that their obligation was to get reliable internet access to me, which they've done in spades. I love a minimum of 9.6 Mbps download, not too happy with the .76 Mbps upload but can live with it. Well worth the tradeoff from Comcast that never could give me the speed I was paying for. So, anybody out there have Apple experience with a LAN that used to work? Oh, yeah, I went from an ancient router that worked to a ZyXEL router that I can't even pronounce, that gets me to the internet but that's it. HELP? Please either reply here or PM me. Thanks!!
