Even the stainless steel appliances started rusting so there was some talk about the metal not being truly stainless. There doesn't seem to be any support from the companies that either sold or made the refrigerators.

I was wondering if anyone has come up with a solution other than to replace the fridge. Thanks for any input.

I believe this could be caused by the setting on your refrigerator. You need to keep case heater on to prevent condensation forming on the outside of the refrigerator. That means turning the energy saver switch off. With the temperature in your home set to 81, condensation can form on the outside of the box.
