We know dozens upon dozens of such global citizens trying to achieve exactly what you mentioned.........a better world.
They all seem to go into their chosen fields naively but with great energy.
I'm sure their optimism does benefit some, however, there will always be the hordes of extremists who wouldn't care if the American was trying to help them or not.....and would respond with hatred for what they perceive America as standing for.
I used to think my husband was insensitive after 911 about lumping them all together.......however, enough is enough, as far as senseless rioting and murder. Obviously they have a lot of time on their hands in all these countries to be throwing stones in the city centers.
These youth are being riled up by other factions.......NOT the movie on YouTube....which hardly anyone even watched in the beginning.
How soon everyone forgets that this extremist factor are barbarians, as someone else kindly mentioned, and not shy about beheading folks.
God forbid they start up that again. Even a psychologist would not be able to "work" with this bunch.
