Not expensive so maybe once a year or so I'll change it if the mold sets in. It does dry very quickly though.

We did the same thing on our screened lanai. The edge of the carpet gets wet but dries out quickly as Russ mentioned. I did find one area of mold on the underside of the carpet, but it just scrubbed off with a brush, so i check it once or twice a year now and clean if necessary. We've had it on the lanai for 2 or 3 years with no problem. We did choose a medium/darker brown color that wouldn't show the dirt, but it goes with our dark wicker furniture. I think we picked our carpet up at Lowe's or Home Depot. In addition we had bought some sort of concrete epoxy paint, etched and then painted the concrete floor, which makes it easy to clean up as well.
