Battery Boys wired our two electric carts up with reducers and good batteries and we run ours many miles before the needle even starts to show anything but full charge. Our lights, turn signals etc. pull off ALL the batteries. The lights etc. also automatically turn off when key is turned off. Our first cart is on 4 years with the reducer without any problems. We go from one end of the Villages to the other and then a shopping trip with plenty of battery left.
This same cart before the reducer, had a 3 year battery life, and was limited in distance.
