Not sure if I was clear. I have had very energy efficient windows in the past that allowed us to keep our blinds completely open even on the west facing side of our house. They were filled with argon and were slightly tinted. I realize TV installs less efficient windows and wondered if they were sufficient to allow blinds and/or shutters alone and still be comfortable with them open at last most of the time. If I can't open them, I may as well get less expensive cellular blinds.
