We just finished watching the Blu-ray version of "THE DAY AFTER TOMORROW" starring Dennis Quaid and Jake Gyllenhaal , when global warming triggers a new ICE AGE, tornados flatten Los Angeles, a tidal wave engulfs New York City and the entire northern hemisphere begins to freeze solid.........which by the way, was a great movie with great special effects, from the same director of INDEPENDENCE DAY.
I turned on the computer to check my emails and the MSN news was showing a tornado that touched down in a beachfront New York neighborhood...........hyperlink above. Three hours earlier.
I noticed on the weather that Bergen County New Jersey was also under a Tornado warning.......then we turned on our t.v. and the weather channel is showing that our town here in Vermont is also under a tornado warning............this is freaky weather.
It seems a massive cold front is coming across the entire northeast.
Just a little unnerving to see the tornado warnings after watching the movie.........
In "The Day After Tomorrow" Florida remained "safe" from the massive ice cover and people headed south and to Mexico. The flooding scenes were out of this world........as the seas rose and flooded into lower Manhattan..........enough excitement for today.
We've noticed a definite climate change these past 43 years up here.

Good movie & I do believe in Global Warming, but wouldn't FL be under water as it is so close to sea level, even TV?
