I clicked the link and did a few of the suggestions. The network driver is up to date. I clean my cookies and trash every week. There are a few more things to try which I will get to a little later. My internet connection speed was tested and is running 75% efficient. The download and upload speeds varied so much on the various tests that it was hard to nail it down. The only part that makes me think this isn't an issue is the fact that we have a desktop attached to the same connection and it is doing great with no slow downs. I have to wait for a while for it to start slowing down again before I check anything else. One poster offered me hard drives to try. I'm appreciate it greatly. I have to first make sure I've checked absolutely everything then I'll go down that path. Thanks again everyone.
