Root 66 is owned by the same owners as the beauty school. My husband had never had a pedicure, so I thought we would try the school. It was cheap, and if he hated it, I hadn't wasted a lot of money. Well, we both hated it!!! Two minutes into it, I was bleeding. For real...the student was just grinding away from the wrong angle. She was slow, not experienced enough to be set loose on customers, and when I told her I would like mauve polish, she didn't have any idea what color that was. I doubt she made it through. I won't go back there, and now, because of that experience, I won't go to Root 66. I did have a couple of haircuts there before the pedicure thing, and I thought it was very expensive. The price went up $10 from the first cut to the second because the stylist got moved up the ladder of experience. $47 was also the price of the cut.
