The extremely mild winter and hot summer rainfall etc was prime breeding ground for the Brazilian roach. When you or your neighbor trim palm trees you stir them up. so you may find a roach entering the house normally from the air vents. My pest control guy says they only live 72 hours in a home and I said it was 72 hours too long. I had worked down on my home twice this summer requiring the font door to remain open whiles workers did their thing and each time was greeted by a raoch in the morning. My pest guy has been here three times for this reason alone. He told me that most of their calls in The Villages has been for this problem.. So hope for a good cold snap this winter. May I suggest that if you do find a roach and can get to it. Save it so that your pest control guy can identify it to determine what type of roach it is. Brazilian roaches are not normally found in food produce so be especially careful to save the specimen for your pest control guy whom I have deemed the best guy
