New homes I saw 2 weeks ago used seers of
15.2, that's pretty good.
To say U need higher efficiency must be calculated as to it's ROI (returned on investment) and cost of electric.
So how many years would $2500 or $5500 take to recoup.
Most cost here that have been posted are $90-$150 a month some a bit over $200
I would at the same time look into solar PV panels and get a 30% rebate from the Feds, then compare all those numbers.
My opinion off the top.....forget all those options, too many years.
Anyone do the real math?
Or can you get that back on resale is another point, bet you could on solar.
Solar for a pool or spa is an absolute winner.
