There's about 90 of us from Gilchrist, Fernandina, Charlotte, and Sanibel who are on a listing (they call it A-4's Spreadsheet) so everyone can start to meet their new neighbors. Since most of us aren't quite there yet, it's been nice to make friends before we ever meet face to face. And the people who are there and waiting on the rest of us to show up have been really good about keeping us informed as to what's going on and have been sending pictures or posting pictures on TOTV. If you or anyone else in these 4 villages want to get on the list and see who your new neighbors are, send me a Private Message (PM) and I'll send you instructions for getting on the list. Everytime I add someone to the list I send it back out to everyone on it.
The only planned event coming out of the Spreadsheet is sometime early next year, after we get more people down there, we'll send an email to everyone on the Spreadsheet with a date and time to all meet at Bradenton Rec Center in their golf cart. From there we will caravan to Brownwood and take over the square for a night of music, dancing, and beverages.
